Griffith University offers a 3-year Bachelor of Paramedicine degree at its Gold Coast campus. Griffith includes what they refer to as work-integrated learning activities (or clinical placements) into the degree which integrate theoretical learning with its application in the workplace. A normal roster for full-time paramedics is a rotating shift system that total 38 hours a week. In fact, the rosters are 40 hours a week, with the additional 2 hours assessed as accrued time and can be saved up and taken as holidays.
It is important to remember that the ATAR is a ranking, not a mark. By definition, only 1% of students can be in the top 1%. This means that only 1% of students can achieve an ATAR of 99.00 or above. To receive an ATAR of 80.00 or above, you must be in the top 20%.
